Thus the earth element has a strong influence over the stomach and digestion. This formula helps increase the health of the stomach, digestion, and removes congestion. This formula promotes balance, starting with sugar cravings, worry, stress, abdominal pain, and the ability for the system to transform food into blood. It is helpful when dealing with viruses. It enriches yin, drains stomach fire, disperses food, and lessens stagnation. It is thought in Chinese medicine, when diarrhea is a problem and phlegm is abundant, the spleen and stomach become unbalanced, then the person becomes meddlesome and worries to the point of being overprotective, near madness.
